Descripción de funciones: Job Description:POSITION SUMMARYThe Wellness and Recreation coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the health and well-being of individuals and communities through the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive wellness and recreational programs. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles, delivering the highest quality of wellness and fitness classes, along with personal training sessions while always ensuring guest comfort and safety. Serves as a wellness advocate, working alongside the Director of Wellness and Spa to support all aspects of wellness programs, fitness studio, and spa areas. This includes maintaining the facility, ensuring daily cleanliness, and managing the fitness and wellness studio operations.
Provides and models service behavior to guests and employees. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize financial performance in areas of responsibility. The position involves working with direct reports to carry out departmental strategiesReport accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines; reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; move up and down stairs and/or service ramps; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.Related Work Experience: Less than 1-year of related work experience.Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSLicense or Certification: CPR CertificationFirst Aid CertificationFitness EquipmentFitness InstructionBody Fat & Weight Measuring ToolsPhysical AssessmentActivity InstructionAny certification or training required by local and state agencies.Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
