Descripción de funciones: **People Strategy Costa Rica & LATAM**
– Define and build a people strategy that addresses and assesses the unique needs of Service Hub in Costa Rica & LATAM and bridges both people and business priorities to bolster business objectives and improve key people metrics in employee retention and engagement.
– In cooperation with the Country Service head, develop a multi-year workplace strategy forecasting skills and headcount requirements to manage the evolution of the Service Hub in Costa Rica.
– Facilitate regional People governance meetings with local senior leaders to drive the People team agenda across Costa Rica & LATAM.
– Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to develop recruitment strategies to attract the best talent from the Costa Rica market and help position Moody’s brand in the technology space.**Workforce Planning & Talent Planning Costa Rica**
– In partnership with the People Business Partner team, ensure clear and succinct workforce plans are developed within Costa Rica to ensure talent in the country is leveraged to maximize business value and create strong career pathways for employees.
– Understand the dynamic of Costa Rica talent in the market and work closely with the business and people team to lead local talent reviews and ensure our best people are in our most critical roles. Ensure regional/local talent planning and identification processes are effectively managed. Ensure local key talents and high potentials are linked into global programs and, where needed, provided with additional career development opportunities.
– Provide thought partnership to leadership and oversight on Costa Rica organization design, including the execution of leadership development and succession planning.**Risk Management & Employee Relations LATAM**
– Works with the Business, Legal and Compliance to ensure employment law-related risks are managed appropriately across the region.
– Manage the employee performance process, including termination and People related investigation, for the LATAM region.**Employee Experience & Engagement LATAM**
– Develop strong governance internally and externally, understanding country employment laws. Bring together People & Control Functions to work together in ensuring smooth operational effectiveness for the region and drive process standardization. Ensure the voice of the regional leaders are captured / shared across the People functions.
– Drive a best-in-class employee experience across various talent communities (new hires, first line leaders, etc.) across the LATAM region. Enhance the rollout of DE&I, Training & Development and Total Rewards programs to ensure programs are localized and maximize employee engagement and performance. Monitor employee trends and identify opportunities to enhance program effectiveness. Drive the strategy and execution for region/country employer brand aligned to local markets.
– Develop and enable, in partnership with the Talent Strategy & Employee Experience team, talent strategies to attract, engage, and retain talent. Finds creative solutions to increase and support mobility within the region.**Regional Management**
– Ensure coordination across People functions in each region to ensure alignment of delivery for People services. Manage employee engagement for the People team across the region.
– Builds relationships with regional senior leaders across all entities within region. Understand and enables strategic business plans and near-term organizational priorities; influence/support senior regional leaders in the delivery of region/country specific People programs.
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– 12 + years of experience in Human Resources or other related field, with previous experience as People Business Partner for Costa Rica in a multinational company
– Strong consultative skills including insight gathering, problem solving, strategy development, influencing, facilitation, intervention planning
– Proven experience of working with local institutions (e.g., CINDE and PROCOMER) and local universities to develop People related strategic plans.
– A passion for enhancing culture and increasing engagement
– Extensive knowledge employment laws across LATAM
– Strong experience in leading complex employee relations matters in LATAM
– Fluent in Spanish and English
– Specialized knowledge within employee relations, benefits, compensation, immigration, mobility, talent acquisition, and other HR functional topics
– Understanding of end-to-end user experience within People processes
– Business driven team-oriented demeanor and a willingness to pitch in whenever needed
– Effective listening and growth mindset to service a diverse employee population
– Ability to prioritize, work collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and adapting to new technologies when needed
– Experience working in a matrixed HR model – corporate, functional and geographic – particularly with US headquartered multination
