Enterprises are modernizing and building new applications off platform, on the cloud, while leveraging their cost effective, resilient systems of record on IBM Z.
Db2 for z/OS and its ecosystem of products offers agile, efficient, secure enterprise data serving for the world’s most demanding hybrid cloud, and transactional and analytics applications.
Majority of Worldwide Top 500 enterprises are building their IT infrastructures on top of Db2 for z/OS. It is the backbone of data storage and processing technology for major enterprises and organizations in banking, finance, governments, retails, medicine, etc. We feel proud of keeping the world running.
This job opening is for technical support professional for Db2 for z/OS.
This expert needs to receive and handle different kinds of technical issues raised by world-wide Db2 for z/OS customers by working independently or in the cooperation with development team in timely and proactive manner. You will have the opportunity to help solve some of the most complex problems for big customers mentioned above.Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or above
2. Excellent problem-solving skills
3. Excellent communication skills and English communication skills
4. Excellent teamwork spirit
5. Good command of programming skills, such as C/C++, Java, Python, etc.
7. Good command of database knowledge and skills
8. Administration skills on z/OS is a plus
9. Knowledgeable on Db2 for z/OS is a plus.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
Experience in technical support
Fluent Level/Advanced level of English
