Descripción de funciones: TE Connectivity’s Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Responsibilities: o Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. o Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities. o Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. o Leads site S&OP process and drives continuous process improvements across demand planning & supply chain o Leads site Risk and Opportunities revenue projection o Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. o Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. o Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques. o Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests. o Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. o Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action. o Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Supervision: o Yes Education and Experience: o Bachelor’s Degree with an engineering or business administration emphasis. o Experience: 5 years’ experience in similar positions. o Apics, CPIM (Desirable) Qualifications: o Advance Microsoft Excel o Knowledge of Microsoft Office o Knowledge in problem-solving techniques o Knowledge of job requirements in medical industry (FDA regulations) o Knowledge of spreadsheets, databases o Ability to supervise staff o Ability to work under pressure o Language: Bilingual English / Spanish
