Descripción de funciones: **Supervisor, Compliance Operations**This position operates within the Back Office organization under Compliance Operations unit, ensuring Convera is complying with different Sanctions regulations and internal controls.**Key responsibilities**:– Operations management on daily workflows and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
– Helping to resolve employee issues, escalations, and disputes.
– Ensuring that team members adhere to Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
– Supervises ~15 staff positions, evaluating performance and providing coaching.
– Ensuring that the procedural updates are reflected in the internal team’s documentation.
– Ensuring required training and access for new hires are provided in a timely manner.
– Reporting to senior management and supporting them with daily tasks and business needs.
– Fostering improvements internally and representing Compliance Operations team in projects among the organization, including but not limited to other Operations groups, and Compliance partners.**What will you need to succeed**:– 3+ years on people manager experience, effective leader, and ability to mentor team members.
– Be able to develop employees based on their individual strengths.
– Prior experience in AML Compliance, Operations, Payments, and/or Know your Customer (KYC) field is a plus.
– +2 years of experience or certification in Project Management is a plus.
– Strong skills to communicate well with diverse groups in the organization.
– Utilize problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
– To have strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
– Showing initiative and driving improvements in your area of responsibility.
