Descripción de funciones: Job Purpose:Responsible for complex engineering for compute systems and/or storage environments, along with related network considerations and infrastructure applications, whether on-premise or in the cloud.Ensures builds are consistent with architectural standards and will meet specified needs.Independently makes important decisions regarding engineering, configuration, monitoring, capacity planning and problem resolution that could affect million dollar project delivery or the successful execution of business transactions for several hours.Ensures backout plans are created and executable in the event of an implementation problem.Responds to inquiries and perform technical research (i.e.reference manuals and vendor websites and configuration tools).Participates in sales and technical solution proposal presentations in addition tocompleting ongoing team activities.Actively works to develop virtual demonstration abilities to be leveraged in training elements for partnerenablement and role growth.Continually updates skillset and stays abreast of technologies trends and developments.Responsibilities:Can understand, differentiate and articulate the vendors vision, strategy and architectural approach to a wide variety of Data Center solution spaces: HyperConverged, Software Defined Infrastructure, Big Data and Analytics, IoT, Edge Computing, AI/ML, Virtualization, Storage, HPC and related technologies.Designs, configures, and implements complex regional compute and storage solutions to enable new business opportunities, support organic growth and small to moderate M&A, and to implement and improve new application services (40%)Provides full operational support for global and regional infrastructure services that execute revenue-generating applications, colleague productivity tools, back office systems, and customer support, with rare assistance from more senior engineers in mission critical and/or extremely complex situations (20%)Works with project managers to prioritize work, and provides structure and direction to Engineers and Associate Engineers as necessary to meet team commitments (15%)Builds and updates systems automation and monitoring tools (15%)Knowledge Skills and Experience:• At least 3 Years of relevant work experience.• Associate Degree with Systems Engineering or Related field of study required.• Other Education / Certifications: VMWare VCAP-DCV, MCSE: Core Infrastructure, MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014, LPIC2, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Linux Foundation Certified Admin, PCEP (certified entry-level python programmer), Red Hat Certified Ansible Specialist• Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.• Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.• Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.• Able to create and conduct formal presentations.• Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.• Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.• Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.• Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.• Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.• Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.• Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.• Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.• Able to use relevant computer system applications at an advanced level.Working Conditions:• Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.• On-call availability required as necessary.• Professional, office environment.• Some travel required.What’s In It For You?Elective Benefits: Our programs are tailored to your country to best accommodate your lifestyle.Grow Your Career: Accelerate your path to success (and keep up with the future) with formal programs on leadership and professional development, and many more on-demand courses.Elevate Your Personal Well-Being: Boost your financial, physical, and mental well-being through seminars, events, and our global Life Empowerment Assistance Program.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: It’s not just a phrase to us;
