We live in a world where information is a means to improving lives and we challenge our team to do just that: improve lives with our products.**What you’ll be doing**:- Design, deploy, document, and support cloud platform capabilities using AWS best practices (fault tolerant, High Availability, security, etc)- Automate tasks to prevent unwanted conditions as well as automate tasks to recover from unexpected events- Develop, test, and execute SQL queries to aid in the investigation and analysis of issues- Perform advanced technical troubleshooting for cloud and e-commerce environments- Document and implement workaround solutions wherever possible- Document steps to reproduce for resolution with internal and external resources- Document processes, procedures, and technical instructions for future reference and use by support teams- Create/manage production/staging support tickets- Communicating with both internal and external customers to achieve ticket resolution as quickly as possible- Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation to support production incidents- Mentor and guide junior members on the team to achieve team goals**Qualifications**:- 5+ years’ experience in a system administrator role with at least 2 years supporting DevOps concepts focused on CI/CD and pipeline management- Strong knowledge of the DevOps toolchain (CI/CD) on the AWS Linux platform: Jenkins, Nexus OSS< Artifactory, Harness, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy, GitHub, GitLab, Chocolaty, CloudFormation, JIRA, Travis, etc.- Strong understanding and experience with Service Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.- Mastery of fault tolerant approaches in a large-scale environment and high-performance systems- Thorough knowledge in all aspects of designing and developing large, real-time systems- Operationally savvy, experience with monitoring, alerting, and analyzing system metrics to root cause problems and explain system behavior- At least 5 years’ experience with Linux, SSH, PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, MySQL, Shell Scripting, and JavaScript- Experience developing or supporting sites using API and SDK integration- Knowledge of Linux, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and MySQL- Experience with Splunk, DataDog, JIRA, and Service Now- Knowledge of troubleshooting and implementing web technologies- Strong client-facing communications skills by providing timely and frequent updates to clients through Service Now- Demonstrates critical thinking capabilities and follows through with internal and external customers- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English)- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent job experience)- Work with management to measure and improve customer satisfactionAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Experian Careers – Creating a better tomorrow togetherFind out what its like to work for Experian by clicking here- Experian is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
