The OpportunityThis position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Vascular division that provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.What You’ll DoThis Process Improvement role is responsible for the execution and ongoing management of business excellence initiatives. The role leads strategic, process improvement projects in conjunction with site goals and imperatives for increasing revenue, optimizing cycle time, reducing defect rates, and improving customer satisfaction. The role is accountable for delivering tactical results from the application of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies and effective change management.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Leads tactical process improvement projects on-site or at the divisional level.
- Delivers tactical results in conjunction with site goals and objectives.
- Evaluate business processes and determine initiatives that will yield greater productivity and efficiency to enable growth.
- Acts as a cross-functional change agent to drive and sustain measurable BPI for the division.
- Act as mentor, role model, and coach in the implementation of BEx best practices and standards.
Shift: Admin (Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)On-Site positionRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a technical discipline.
- Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- At least 6+ years of experience in Manufacturing with involvement in delivering results for BPI initiatives, Continuous Improvement Process, Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional change, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Experience.
