Job Description
Eurofins is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its Workspace Management (WSM) team. The WSM team supports and maintains the Microsoft compute environment across North and South America using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune. The ideal candidate would have expert experience with deploying, managing, and maintaining the MECM infrastructure, deploying Windows Operating Systems via AutoPilot and MECM task sequences; managing Microsoft Security patch deployment, PowerShell scripting, and a strong understanding of Group Policy, Active Directory and Microsoft Operating Systems. Strong skills in system and application log analysis and troubleshooting are also desired.
Essential Job Duties:
- MECM Infrastructure engineer experience:
- Performing site and site server installations & upgrades
- Configuring site system components such as the Software Update Point, SSRS Reporting Point, and CMG
- Managing infrastructure components such as Boundaries & Boundary Groups, Accounts & RBA, Client Policy, and PKI Certificates
- MECM Operations engineer experience:
- Strong experience with the three core functional areas of MECM (Software Distribution, Software Updates, & Operating System Deployment)
- Creating and managing collections & deployments
- Monitoring deployments
- Running reports
- Active Directory – using users, machine accounts, groups with MECM
- Intune/AAD (Entra) infrastructure engineering experience:
- Creating and deploying Intune configurations, policies, and settings
- Intune operations engineering experience:
- Creating and deploying Applications and Software Updates
- Autopilot
- Strong troubleshooting and log analysis experience – analyzing logs from various sources including, but not limited to, MECM client and server logs, Intune, Windows Event Viewer, Windows components such as Windows Update Agent, Windows Installer, CBS, Panther/Windows Setup/OOBE, etc
- Strong PowerShell scripting to automate software installations, troubleshooting/problem resolution scripts, Baseline CIs, or other general scripting tasks

Requirements
These are a MUST to be considered for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or related.
- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)/ System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM); and Microsoft Intune.
- 5+ years of experience working in desktop engineering or workspace management position.
- Advanced English level.
Desired but not required:
- Experience creating/troubleshooting Microsoft Group Policy.
- Experience with application packaging and deployment.
- Experience with third party patching tools integrated with MECM and Intune (e.g. PatchMyPC).
- Experience with using Automatic Deployment Rules to deploy Microsoft updates to workstations and servers.
Nice to have:
- Experience migrating from an environment where MECM is the primary management tool to where Intune is primary
- Third-party patching/packaging tools like PatchMyPC
- Mobile Device Management
- MECM Compliance Settings – creating and deploying Baselines & CIs, including custom scripts
- Application Packaging – working with MSIs, custom exes with switches, etc; including applications from Microsoft, third-parties, and home-grown applications, using tools like Orca – InstallShield is a plus, though we are not using it currently
- Creating SSRS Reports, creating and using PowerBI, or other reporting systems
- CMPivot
- Basic familiarity with ticketing systems (we use Service Now)
- Operating in environments with production systems sensitive to downtime
