  • The Senior Supervisor Invoice Processing will oversee the Accounts Payable function for supported by the Costa Rica team
  • Supervise employees and oversee the daily accounts payable activities including establishing objectives in support of the company’s strategy for the department and ensuring staff is appropriately trained to perform assigned work. Provide progress reports and metrics to management and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner and build cross functional relationships with business partners (e.g., business units, supply chain, indirect sourcing) to resolve any vendor/payment issues and improve communication with internal and external customers
  • Lead projects related to AP department
  • Ensure SOX compliance over the accounts payable area; manage and oversee corrective action on any audit items
  • Proactively identify, develop, and lead the implementation of policies and procedures to streamline accounts payable process
  • Review and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure AP accruals are appropriate for month end close
  • Review and sign off on AP Subledger Close for AP related accounts.
  • Train and support team in preparing the input. Investigate differences and escalate to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform AP activities (including supervisor tasks within Coupa)
  • Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership; Participate internal and external audit requests

What you’ll need (Required):
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, with 8 years of previous experience in accounts payable including demonstrated track record in supervising accounts payable staff required.What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Experience working in a medical device and/or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Experience with auto three-way match process and clearing exceptions
  • Experience with 1099 filings
  • Experience with unclaimed property filings
  • Experience with Coupa preferred
  • Experience with Large ERP ex JDE, SAP
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel and strong knowledge of accounts payable system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills; possessing strong collaboration skills in partnering with cross functional stakeholders in order to achieve objectives, as well as mediating and negotiating the needs of other areas to achieve consensus
  • Full understanding of procedures as it relates to assigned area of accounts payable including in-depth knowledge of assigned area of responsibility, including processes used across areas of responsibility
  • Ability to analyze and identify potential adjustments to improve efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
  • Must be able to work with cross-functional teams as well as with colleagues from other departments, interacting daily with subordinates and/or peers within similar and/or related functions
  • May represent the organization to outside contacts (e.g., vendors, suppliers, contractors, staffing agencies
