About the role: Identify and lead value improvement and waste elimination projects that drive plant and company performance improvements while promoting the development and advancement of the lean culture, OpEx and continues improvement.
Support local implementation, training and support of Global Lean and VIP & Production Essentials.
Manages and coordinates activities of Industrial Engineering section which supports the manufacturing process by creating and updating production floor layouts, increase capacity and space for production lines, assembly processes and test methodologies.
Oversees pilot manufacturing efforts/line transfers and new products.
You’re Responsibilities include: Introduce and advance the Lean culture, principles and practices across the plant and work with local management to create and drive Site Lean vision.
Initiate and lead improvement projects (i.e.
Lean, Production & VIP) with the Production, Process Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and other support functions.
Develop and conduct Lean training programs for employees at all levels.
Create, maintain and refine a Lean toolkit that can include: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, mistake proofing and line balancing.
Deploy and support the use of corporate Lean tools and Metrics (Core Five Metrics, WCG, VSP, 5S, Lean Goals and Plans, etc.).
Promote cross-functional and inter-site collaboration to accomplish shared objectives.
Maintain current OpEX trends and methodologies including benchmark.
Supervise, mentor and provide work direction to other members of the team.
Specific improvements as follows: increased of Output and service levels, cycle time and inventory reduction and cost reductions.
Communication and coordination with PD, PM, Core Team & Production managers Ability to prepare and manage a departmental budget.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or Related Field.
Experience: At least 5 years English Level desired: 80%.
Desired knowledge: Problem Solving, Networking, Lean Tools and IE Systems.
Desired Power Bi OpEx Experience, leading programs and execution.
