Position Summary:

The Sr. Sales Insights Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting our organization by analyzing data, generating insights, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize our sales performance. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for sales to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key sales metrics, such as revenue, sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition.
  • Conduct in-depth sales performance analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align sales analytics with overall business objectives.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales forecasting models and methodologies to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Provide analytical support to the field sales management team as needed.
  • Create sales performance reports/dashboard to management and field sales.
  • Review and reconcile sales data systems to ensure on-going accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Attributes:

  • General office environment. May sit for extended periods of time
  • Physically able to bend, crouch and reach continuously while performing required job tasks
  • Utilize dexterity abilities to perform typing, operate a computer and other office equipment, to perform filing, and related job responsibilities and attention to detail competence.
  • Physically able to spend significant time reading both on paper and on a computer.
  • Travel less than 10% both domestically and internationally.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within a sales or business development environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, organize, and analyze large sets of data from diverse sources.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies, CRM systems, and salesforce automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Quick learner with the ability to work with minimal supervision in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to provide strategic insights.
  • Ability to stay highly organized while collaborating with other colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
