**Responsabilities**:– Collaborate with product management team and technology peers to support current and future business requirements
– Contribute towards design by creating technical specifications documents
– Perform hands-on development, build unit test cases. Resolve bugs found during QA testing and UAT
– Work on performance tuning, code reviews and test strategies
– Implement standards and best practices for software development
– Promote API based integrations strategy and microservices based architecture
– Remove blockers, and ensure on time delivery of projects while maintaining quality**Requirements**:– Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent academic achievement or equivalent experience
– At least five (5) years of IBM Sterling development experience
– Experience in Java programming, SOAP/REST Web Services, messaging, and event-based architecture
– Experience with Shell Scripts, JSON, and JMS compliant queues
– Experience in XML, XML parsers, and XSL
– Experience in customizing Sterling UIs: Order Hub and Call center
– Experience of using SOAP UI, Postman, LDAP Clients, Source control utilities, Packaging and Build tools
– Experience working with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server databases
– Experience of working in Agile and Scrum teams
– Knowledge of DevSecOps in creating available, survivable, defensible, and resilient software.
– Commitment to learning new technologies, completing training, acquiring certifications and being an impact player
– Problem solving, analysis and ability to work under mínimal supervision
– Track record of delivering results within established timelines
– Strong communication skills and experience of working with diverse and remotely distributed teams
