Come join us.Huntsman’s GBS in Costa Rica is seeking a Senior Credit Controller supporting our facility in Heredia, Costa Rica reporting to the Credit Manager AMS.As the Credit Controller, you will:- Manage the collection of accounts in an assigned portfolio to ensure compliance with payment terms and credit limits utilizing ERP System FSCM and SAP,- Assist the team in achieving annual targets on collections and support credit risk assessments of our credit analysis shared service team in Kuala Lumpur,- Review and process payments received for data entry,- Daily posting of payments to customers’ accounts through correct bank account and date,- Resolving unapplied/unidentified cash receipts,- Completing offset and adjustment requests,- To perform Daily/Monthly cash reconciliation to ensure payments posted balance to amounts deposited,- Approve credit limits based on delegation of authority,- Technical skills with credit risk monitor and D&B are a plus,- Monitor and approve sales orders on credit hold,- Frequent interaction with sales, the pricing team and customer service to resolve disputes,- Support SOX, Audit and Compliance as required,- Follow instructions and perform other related functions as may be assigned by the manager,- Participates and completes Huntsman company required compliance training program,- Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by Huntsman.Required Qualifications**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting,- Fluency in English (Additional languages are a plus).**Experience**:- At least 3+ years relevant experience in the industrial credit and collections field,- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.Skills & Knowledge:- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and be goal driven,- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.Huntsman is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
