Descripción de funciones: A senior platform engineer role in the globally based, Windows Engineering Team. Managing around 20,000 windows laptops/desktops based around 24 countries all over the world. Day to day activities include managing updates, deployments & computer configurations and working alongside your global peers based in Costa Rica, UK & USA. Alongside the workstations, you will help maintain the 34 Microsoft Configuration Manager(SCCM) servers around the different regions in Equifax and work closely to act as a final line of support for the desktop support and global service desk teams. _
– We love automating things where possible and we love to find and fix vulnerabilities for our friends in security, if this interests you, come join us on this exciting role in the best team in Equifax! _**What you’ll do**:– Responsible for administration/management of Microsoft Workstations using Microsoft Endpoint products.
– Work in the Global Desktop Engineering – Windows team – supporting currently 24 countries and around 20,000 Windows Workstations.
– Assist with Audits/Compliance/Security management of a large set of Windows Workstations 3rd/4th line support to Desktop Engineers.
– Support and maintain middleware environments including creation of new environments, software upgrades, tuning and support for development teams.
– Participation in the creation and amendment of installation scripts and supporting documentation.
– Create & Design automation where possible.
– Provide software deployment services for QA and production environments.
– Create/Design & Assist with Windows Patching & OS Upgrades.
– Create/Design & Assist with Operating System Deployments (SCCM).
– Flexibility to work some off hours on an as needed basis.**What experience you need**:– 3-5 years of experience in **managing/troubleshooting Microsoft Workstations and Endpoint products**
– 3-5 years of **Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) administration**
– 1-2 years understanding of **Intune/Co-Management**
– 3-5 years experience in **PowerShell **/Scripting/Automation**
– English proficiency B2 or above**What could set you apart**:– **Any Cloud Certification either in GCP, AWS or Azure**
– Experience in creating technical documentation.
– Experience in Mass OSD (Operating System Deployment).
– Experience with the Google suite of productivity toolLI-DU1
