Descripción de funciones: Job Description:Emerson is seeking a motivated and experienced accounting professional to join our team as a RtR Specialist I in San José Province, Escazu, Costa Rica.   • Complete and process a large volume of journal entries.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Follow Standard Accounting Policies & Procedures according to USGAAP.
  • Respond accurately to Shared Services Customers.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and work towards resolving open items.
  • Collaborate in the accounting closing process and carry out specific tasks on a timely manner.
  • Prepare and post Manual Journal Entries as requested.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accruals.
  • Ensure targets and expected deliverables are met according to the SLA guidelines.
  • Carry out a knowledge transfer process.
  • Identify potential areas for process improvements and highlight them to Supervisors and Continuous Improvement Team.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Participate in the reporting process of financial statements on a monthly basis.
  • Develop analysis and information as requested by the Business Units.

Biosafety Officer
  • Associates or BSBA degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Administration.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with English & Portuguese preferred.
  • More than two years of experience in general accounting or Big 4 environment.
  • Experience in Shared Services environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of (financial) administrative (accounting) processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle/SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Experience with Hyperion or other reporting systems is preferred.
