Required Qualifications * 5+ years of development and programming experience. * 3+ years of hands-on RPA experience, preferably in a transactional service environment. * 2+ years of experience working with a relational database, preferably SQL Server. * Experience with Process Analysis, Design, Implementation and System Testing. Preferably as solution designer or architect. * At least 3 years of strong documentation skills and excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, and project management experience. * Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related technical field strongly preferred. * English (90% proficiency) Desire Qualifications * 3+ experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with one of the market leading RPA Platforms: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc. Preferably in a transactional service environment (e.g. logistics, banking, or customer service). * Prior experience as team leader or supervisor in projects and ability to mentor others. * UiPath Advanced Developer Certification preferred. * Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of machine learning programming. Start YOUR career with DHL EXPRESS today… About the role: DHL is hiring a RPA Solution Designer to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team. In this role, you will interact with internal departments to insure that our new RPA Solutions cope with business needs and requirements. Additional tasks and accountabilities include but are not limited to: Main Responsibilities * Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks through RPA and enhanced workflow automation platforms. * Participate in requirements gathering and design through client meeting, interviews, and workshops. * Collaboration with colleagues in other departments and countries, helping them by assessing their existing processes for automation opportunities to improve process effectiveness and quality. * Regular, direct contact with our internal clients, while working on process transformation projects. * Lead countries in the deployment of RPA solutions (project management approach) * Review the technical progress of a project and insure the correct deployment and solve issues. * Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution. * Anticipate, identify, track and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery. * Ensures documentation is well maintained according to the Global Governance Model. * Enforce Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) usage and best practice adoption and usage throughout the development process * Lead and participate in the design, development, and testing of all automations. * Write test reports and conduct testing when necessary. * Participate in deployment of RPA platform components, including bots, orchestrators, development tools, and systems integrations, to meet enterprise requirements for security, scalability, and performance.si * Perform demos, code reviews, and retrospectives; communicates ideas for team continuous improvement and willingly receives feedback for self-improvement. * Manage and support automations in production, as required. * The Senior Solution Designer makes sure that proper coding standards and guidelines are laid out. Collaborating with the Business Analyst on feasibility and optimization is undertaken. As part of the preparation the solution designer is also responsible to estimate the cost-benefit and plans on the technical meetings to be conducted during the process. * Once the Process Design Document (PDD) is signed off, the overall solution is designed and documented. This includes the component splitting and appointing developers to develop each component and/or workflow. The solution designer is responsible for identifying reusable components that can save duplicate effort and also defining how to manage configurable parameters, queues and schedules of Robots to optimize the cost and runtime. A document describing outstanding challenges is also created to log any challenges that may or may not be taken care of during the implementation. * An impeccable solution design and implementation needs testing at various levels of the design and implementation. A timely and diligent code review and audit by a solution designer ensures there are fewer bugs and the solution is compliant and robust. * Provides constant monitoring, mentoring of the RPA developers and continuously increases the capabilities of the RPA developers.
