Descripción de funciones: We are seeking passionate and driven sales professionals to add to our group of European travel experts. The Group Sales Agent is primarily responsible for driving sales volume while creating and fostering relationships with the Travel Agent and Advisor community.Business overview:US Tour Operator (USTO – ) is a division of Travelopia (https://www.travelopia.com/), the world’s leading experiential travel company with over 2,000 employees in 30 countries around the world. We are a collection of diverse and exciting businesses, owned by KKR, one of the world’s largest private equity firms.Established in 1990, Europe Express provides high-quality, custom travel to Europe for their North American clients. The company serves both private group and FIT leisure markets, working exclusively with travel advisors to book everything from air and rail to hotels and sightseeing tours.Location:This is hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in our office located in Escazu Village, San Jose as well as on select days for meetings and/or employee events.Salary & Benefits:The position offers base salary plus commission, health benefits, paid time off, CR national holidays, birthday PTO, employee assistance program and career progression opportunities.Scheduling:This is a full-time, 40 hours a week position (Mon-Fri, 8 hour day time shifts start time 8 am/9 am local CR time).What you will be doing:

  • Answer inbound call and e-lead inquiries for groups of 15+ travelers.
  • Discover needs of client through consultative sales approach.
  • Create custom European destination itineraries to include arrangements for air, hotels, sightseeing and ground transportation.
  • Handle personal sales pipeline to ensure monthly sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Educate Travel Agent Partners about Europe Express products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Provide multi-tiered pricing itineraries based upon passenger totals.
  • Cultivate warm leads generated by the Outside Sales Team.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all product offerings.

What we are looking for:

  • European destination or European travel knowledge required.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding inside sales goals required.
  • Demonstrated customer service and time management skills required.
  • Background in a consultative sales environment required.
  • Experience with business to business sales and relationship/account management building skills preferred.
  • Experience as a group travel advisor, independent consultant or tour operator sales experience preferred.
  • Call center experience preferred.
  • Experience with CRM software, airline reservation GDS systems desired (Amadeus preferred).
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office, Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel.

Physical and/or Home Office Requirements:

  • Dedicated workspace free from distraction.
  • Stable home internet connection. Wireless connection preferred. (minimum ADSL 20 mbps download, 10 mbps upload, ideal ADSL 40 mbps download and 20 mbps upload)
