This position will be responsible for supporting Product Owners (POs) of the respective components of the GreenSlate product. WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU What you will do Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the payroll and accounting software space. Develop business requirements by interviewing subject matter experts, clients, product managers, and other resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, UI/UX designers, and quality assurance engineers, to prioritize and execute product enhancements. Assist in the creation of product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and release plans based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives. Participate in product planning and strategy meetings to provide insights and recommendations on product direction and feature priorities. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from internal stakeholders and beta users to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Assist in the documentation of product specifications, user guides, and release notes to support the use and understanding of the software by customers and internal teams. Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products. Who you are Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Will also consider recent graduates. Strong technical background or understanding of software development processes and technologies, including cloud computing and software-as-a-service concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Proficient in Google Workspace and project management tools. Strong willingness to learn and ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a dynamic and evolving industry. Experience or familiarity with payroll or accounting software solutions is a plus.
