We are currently looking for a Manager Project Engineer who will be responsible for the execution of the infrastructure plan, accountable for the capital project cycle of the plant; defining specifications, dealing with contractors, managing constructions and equipment installation.What You’ll Do for Us:

Assistant Professor - Applied Data Science
  • Develop and evaluate business cases for solving a variety of complex engineering problems; assess feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering solutions.
  • Prepares project proposals including goals, time frame, budget and procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, regulatory permits and endorsements, general contract management, allotment of resources, startup and commissioning.
  • Directs and coordinates tasks to ensure project progress stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinates recruitment of contractors or assignment of required project personnel and assigns duties. Supervise that contractors perform their job in accordance to the environmental requirements in order to reduce, minimize or prevent environmental impacts.
  • Establishes procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Informs customers and management on project activities and progress on a routine basis through formal reports.
  • Develops and maintains technical and project documentation including engineering drawings and specifications. Ensure all documents are updated in the central project file.
  • Searches for new equipment and technology suitable to concentrate manufacturing operations.
  • Work closely with the CPS Engineering team sharing good practices, supporting the implementation of new technologies, improving capabilities and performance of current operations.
  • Update Site Master Plan to assess infrastructure including but not limited to buildings, utilities and machinery, and equipment. Machinery and equipment responsibilities will span all areas of manufacturing, including but not limited to Warehouse automation, beverage processing, packaging equipment, refrigeration, water treatment, and various support systems.
  • Ensure effective capital program management, through all the Project Management Processes: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and finally Closing.
  • Comply with the guidelines of Food Safety, Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety), KORE Corporate Standards and any other applicable legal requirements, established or subscribed by the Company, related to your job, complying with the policies, internal plans, and procedures that ensure the proper implementation and continuous improvement of the company.
  • Purchase orders: Issuance, process and management for all PO´s for the Capital Projects
  • Invoices: Accounting process application, vendor´s payments follow up, internal customers support, as well as, building up excellent suppliers´ relationships.
  • SAP vendors issuance and contract creation for all capital projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • University/Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering Degree or MBA with major in the related field are a plus.
  • At least 5-7 Years in the food & beverage industry and the ability to leverage technical knowledge & provide a competitive advantage. Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose resolutions. Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong project management experience with the ability to define and lead projects and direct/motivate project teams.
  • Ability to refine solutions and manage internal and external partner’s expectations against technical and business success criteria with limited available resources.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to understand and analyze finances to support decision-making. Negotiation and execution coordination with suppliers. Exchanging experience at Global Engineering forum.
  • English and Spanish: Fluent writing, listening, and talking
  • Technical Skills: Project Management Certification is desired. SAP experience. Autocad / Navisworks / Revit skills
  • Move or live in Liberia Guanacaste 100% non-negotiable.
