Descripción de funciones: At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewDevelops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiencyWhat your background should look like:This position will report to the O2C Process Delivery Lead and lead O2C teams in the planning, management and delivery of in scope processes including Accounts Receivables, Cash Application, Credit, Dispute Management, Collections and any other related managerial and decision activities. Key responsibilities include:o Manage O2C teams. Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced. Hold regular meetings, coach and mentor team, recognize key employees.o Be a Subject Matter Expert for O2C related topics
o Organize/ participate in regular ops calls, point of contact and escalations
o Support migration of O2C processes from countries throughout the Americas to San Jose, Costa Rica
o Oversee escalated AR, collections, cash applications, credit issues, dispute management and ensure timely resolution
o Support as needed, customer negotiations in order to secure adequate guarantees for credit lines
o Oversee region’s receivables collection activities, including unique collections plans, bankruptcy or special action notices and placement of accounts with collection agencies
o Provide local O2C Process Lead, Finance Directors/Controllers with bad debt reserve recommendations per corporate policy
o Appropriately manage and escalate issues with process lead (E2E Manager) and Stakeholders
o Perform regular performance evaluations of staff members
o Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes
o Ensure fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), continuously improving on performance benchmarks,
o Proactively monitor and operate a robust SOX and internal control environment
o Build strong relationship with key stakeholders

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a financial shared service center supporting multiple countries / business units, people management experience
  • 2.5+ years of team leadership experience
  • Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Prior experience in managing O2C functions in a shared services environment
  • Deep understanding of end to end O2C processes and associated technology platforms
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel
  • Knowledge:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong accounting background
