Descripción de funciones: Overview Lutron has an exciting new opportunity for a Manager to lead our newly established Logistics Shared Service Center in Costa Rica.
The leader will be part of the hiring team that will include several supervisor, analysts, and specialist positions.
The role will be part of the senior leadership team for the Logistics function and have a direct reporting line to the Director of Logistics based at our Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA.
This role is viewed as transformational and will be instrumental in propelling overall efficiency and contributing to the overall optimization of the Global Logistics Group.
This person will be measured on effectively managing and leading the Shared Service Center group fostering a culture of continues improvement and excellence, with the focus on coaching and training.
Responsibilities Role includes leading a dedicated team on the ground in CR ensuring the seamless integration of our Logistics activities with the global headquarters and regional logistics teams Leadership role in the selection process of hiring and building out the new service capability Integrate the SSC with current systems, process, and resources, Work with the corporate transition team to move activities that have been identified, train and implement within the Shared Service Center Establish clearly defined goals and objectives together with the corporate team to deliver specifically identified results Primary responsibility centered around business outcomes relating to operational transparency, improved predictability, data harmonization, reduced numbers of exceptions and cost analytics Report and identify opportunities in overall End-to-End operations , including transportation, warehousing, and distribution Design & execute standard operating process changes to streamline reporting and visibility including Power BI The role requires good collaboration skills to align logistics strategies with broader business objectives and the supply chain organization Strong background in data analytics, reporting, and data driven decision making Sound user experience for operating systems, and the inner workings of ERP, TMS, and Carrier data exchanges Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field with a min GPA of 3.00.
Master’s degree is a plus 10-15 years of logistics experience preferably in multi-modal global operations or other SSC center with global scope across all modes of transportation Expert communicator with extensive experience coordinating with executives and global cross functional leaders Experienced in leading off-shore Shared Service Centers and integration with plant operations Proficient with Power BI, TMS, ERP-SAP Certification in data analytics for strategic logistics decision making Proven track record in leading, promoting and retaining talent Preferred experience in consumer electronics Proficient in contract management, logistics operations and organizational/administrative skills, project management Fluent in both English and Spanish Knowledgeable in trade compliance and customs regulations Lutron Electronics position as the leading manufacturer of lighting controls worldwide, our unsurpassed quality, the breadth and depth of our product offerings, and our commitment to servicing our worldwide customers have resulted in double digit growth annually.
