Job Summary & Responsibilities:The Logistic & RMA Specialist will be the main point of contact for logistics and RMA requests at Nevro. This person will be responsible to work with Nevro’s Costa Rica manufacturing site, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and distribution centers on tackling logistical requirements and the handling of international shipments (primarily air shipments) to clear any custom impedances, they will be the point person for issues regarding customs, hazmat, dangerous goods, and other logistical expertise. This individual will also work closely with our field reps and distribution centers on RMA related requests and corresponding inventory movements.

  • Effectively interface with leaders on questions regarding shipping and logistics
  • Involvement in the design and engineering of supply chain services that include packaging design to meet hazmat shipping standards
  • Hazmat certification is a plus or must have deep understanding of Hazmat/Dangerous good shipping restrictions.
  • Manage insurance claims on lost/damage products during shipping/transit.
  • Liaison to Nevro’s main distributors
  • Track and handle delay shipments (customs clearance, missing paperwork, etc.)
  • Develop/maintain freight expense metrics
  • Assist with freight cost evaluation, budgeting, and carrier rate negotiations.
  • Ensuring Nevro’s shipping accounts are up to date (annual renewals, certificates, customs, etc.)
  • Investigating and clearing products in transit and maintain overall clean data in ERP systems
  • Works with external distribution centers to resolve holds and lock codes to release into allocable inventory
  • Work with Sales reps on RMA related action items
  • Transacts inventory movements in the ERP and Salesforce systems
  • Back up the inventory control team in various duties as needed

Role Requirements:

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree with Operations or Business coursework
  • 3 or more years of experience in logistics
