– Meeting Experience: Includes tools like Zoom, Teams meetings, Webex, CVI services, in-room A/V systems, virtual and physical whiteboarding (i.e. Miro/Microsoft Whiteboard)- Messaging and Communities: includes tools like Slack, Teams (messaging), WhatsApp, and WeChat- Content Collaboration: Includes tools like OneDrive and SharePoint (on-premises and online)- Team Productivity: covers tools like Outlook, Exchange, Mimecast, Trello, Planner, and PowerAutomate- Meeting Rooms and Hybrid: covering use cases of experience equality between in-office and remote working, SmartJoin for meetings, and much moreThe Solution Architect Chapter Lead is a leader who blends deep domain expertise in the Digital Collaboration suite (namely the M365 platform and those tools named above) with a passion for coaching and developing people. You will directly oversee a team of Chapter members, who will be embedded in Squads but report to you as their line manager. You will help them grow and develop in their area of expertise and ensure alignment on the «how» of the work they perform in Squads. You will serve as a «player-coach,» spending part of your time embedded in a Squad yourself. You will work as a Squad Member in your domain of expertise, helping to advance the work and using your experience to maximize Squad performance. You will also be committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure that you and your Chapter members bring the latest thinking to your roles.The Solution Architecture chapter is charged with working with our product tams to design and secure some of BCG’s more complicated collaboration solutions. For example, successful people in this role have been responsible for the migration of our user base to Exchange Online, spearheading our move from Egnyte to OneDrive and SharePoint Online, helping to facilitate the mass ingestion of >100k PST files into our Exchange Online active mailbox and online archive to help improve collaboration capabilities and performance at the same time, and rearchitecting our meeting room design strategy. The Solution Architect team focuses more on major implementations and projects, and works in tandem with our other Engineering teams to ensure appropriate security, compliance, serviceability, and avoidance of technical debt in our implementations.You will, together with your team, define, design, and secure resilient technology solutions that optimize our solutions for rapid innovation. You will act as pioneer, thought leader, problem solver, and be sought out for your expertise by product teams, enabling them to go faster safely, and prevent solutions that are hard to change and stifle innovation.In your role you will bridge enterprise architecture and engineering, and will own the design of multiple services, products and solutions within the Digital Collaboration Product Portfolio. You will also serve as the security solutions expert for our Microsoft 365 collaboration stack. You will work with teams inside BCG to secure enterprise information by determining access and security requirements, planning, implementing, and testing secure systems. You will document architecture views and deliver architecture artifacts required by the delivery process, and enable teams to maximize the automation in the deployment pipeline.Among your responsibilities, you will:
– Continuously develop Chapter expertise- Maintaining best-in-class Chapter expertise and resources in order to deliver the right knowledge and skills to Squads- Staying abreast of relevant developments and innovations in domain area, both internally and externally- Maintaining your own technical knowledge through learning and continuous improvement- Develop and train the team on comprehensive and streamlined design and implementation procedures for all products within the Digital Collaboration Product Portfolio- Partner with our Security and Enterprise Architecture teams to implement and maintain an appropriate interaction model between our teams to ensure consistency in design, configuration, and alignment with our Data and Digital Platform strategic architecture.- Develop Chapter members and the Chapter as a whole- Oversee, provide feedback, and develop Chapter members to help improve domain knowledge and better serve the Squads in which they work- Discussing Chapter development progress and opportunities with the Technical Area Lead- Educate team members on foundations and criticality of change management excellence, CMDB utilization, and rapid deployment methodologies to
