We are a small, tightly knit group of analog circuit, logic, and layout designers located primarily in Allentown, Pennsylvania who are dedicated to helping Intel achieve its goals by enabling world-class foundational and custom IP development and test chips, end-to-end circuit design, and power, performance, area analysis.We are looking for the right person to take an IP Program Manager position to support planning and delivery of IP to our Networking and Edge SOC design teams.The key responsibilities of this person include the following:– Working closely with SOC teams to understand and identify their IP needs.
– Negotiating IP features, schedules, and cost with internal and external IP providers.
– Implementing and maintaining project management systems, tracking progress against plans, developing and publishing metrics and dashboards, performing analysis in the areas of critical chain project management, resource optimization, efficiency, technical indicators, and risk management.
– Working independently with first line through senior management to provide regular analysis and recommendations in all aspects of project management.**Qualifications**:
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with 5+ years’ experience OR a Masters degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field and 3+ years of related experience
– 3-5 years of experience in program management/control, or equivalent experience.
– 3-5 years of experience in IP or SOC design development experience or understanding
– Experience in outbound matrix multinational/virtual teams management.
– Excellent communication skills at both technical and business level to assess needs, find solutions, address issues, and manage delivery.
– Demonstrates robust analytical skills, adept at grasping intricate details while simultaneously possessing the ability to envision the broader perspective and guide the team effectively.
– Working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, formulas, and/or macros
– Demonstrates exceptional teamwork.
– Must be flexible and work successfully in a dynamic and multicultural team environment.
– Demonstrated problem solving skills.
– Intermediate to Advanced English & communication skills.How to stand out (Preferred Qualifications):– Technical understanding of IP functionality including Serdes, DDR, UCIe, PLLs to facilitate definition of requirements.
– Understanding of SOC design flow to ensure necessary IP collateral are provided for the various steps in the flow.
– Understanding of process technology to recognize technical subtleties that will impact IP design and implementation.
– 1+ years’ experience with scripting language like Perl, TCL, Python, etc.**Inside this Business Group**:
