They will work closely with contract manufacturers (CMOs), suppliers, field personnel and other departments to ensure that tracking processes are maintained and will help identify and implement improvements to these processes. This person will be responsible for accurately maintaining process and material tracking reports. They will monitor and communicate with field personnel on the efficient utilization of field inventory.

  • Liaison with the sales team to assist with the inventory control function, requires schedule flexibility.
  • Perform cycle count function with contractors and field personnel.
  • Develop record keeping processes and maintain/distribute suitable metrics on inventory accuracy, includes working with the Finance team on investigation and reporting as required.
  • Manage and ensures returns of short-dated and expired materials from field sales reps to meet compliance for Nevro quality standards.
  • Monitor and resolve aging in-transit inventory locations within Nevro’s ERP system.
  • Works with external distribution centers to resolve holds and lock codes to release into allocable inventory.
  • Facilitate distribution material movements and transactions.
  • Work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Analyze all inventory movement through our operation to ensure system effectiveness and work with other departments on process and control systems improvements, from issue identification to solution implementation.
  • Work with internal IT team to resolve issues and coordinate on projects.
  • Monitor inventory utilization with distribution centers and field personnel. Regularly communicate with field to implement improvements and training as needed.
  • Transacts inventory movements in the ERP and Salesforce systems.
  • Create and maintain SOPs and business procedures for inventory disposition at various distribution, manufacturing, and field locations.
  • Respond to special requests from multiple internal departments on reporting requirements including, but not limited to, FDA and other regulatory audit requests.
  • Performs light packing, shipping, and kitting responsibilities as needed.
  • Backup other functions as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Requirements

Drafter
  • Strong English proficiency
  • 3 or more years of experience in inventory control.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with suppliers and internal customers.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience in the Medical Device or other highly regulated environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, QAD preferred. In regards to material requirements planning, bills of materials and routings, and inventory management including inventory and shipping/receiving transactions.
  • Understanding of product flow through manufacturing and distribution environment, including inventory management and shipping/receiving transactions.
  • Understanding of business, financial and quality/traceability impact of inventory processes.
  • Sound judgment and decision making, problem solving, and flexibility, with a focus on accuracy.
  • Able to work independently to drive multiple projects to completion.
