Descripción de funciones: Overview:Overall Position Description:
- The Financial/Accounting Clerk ensures the smooth operation of financial processes within an organization. They handle a variety of clerical and financial support tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of financial responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and databases.
- Input data accurately into accounting software or financial systems.
- Financial Transactions:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Prepare and issue bills or statements to customers or vendors.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate financial reports and summaries.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial statements.
- Compliance and Verification:
- Verify the accuracy of financial documents, records, and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist financial personnel with audits.
- Handle correspondence related to financial matters, such as bank or client inquiries.
- Miscellaneous Duties:
- Support the finance and other departments with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications:Candidate Profile:
- High school diploma or GED
- Additional training in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance is preferred
- Available to work full-time
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in clerical or financial roles is beneficial
- Skills
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel)
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
