Job Description

Our Finance Development Program – Early Career aims to provide candidates initiating their careers with a comprehensive financial profile through hands-on training and gaining on the job experience of our financial processes to strengthen your resume and skillset.

This is a particularly exciting time to be joining the Global Finance Services team as we continue our journey to world class finance and our organization keeps expanding to service our business areas from our CR hub. Team members are encouraged to take advantage of numerous personal development opportunities such as, Lean/Six Sigma training and Automation/Robotics, as we continue our journey to world class.

In this role, you’ll be performing some tasks such as:

  • Support basic billing month-end close processes using Oracle.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and support ad hoc requests for billing.
  • Drive basic standardization and create efficiencies across financial reporting and analysis models using different methods (RPA, quick fixes, Lean Six Sigma, Tableau, etc.).
  • Support basic monthly tasks (entry level) end processes for the corresponding business unit.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
  • Create and maintain desktop procedure documents for routine processes.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Enrolled in Accounting or Business Administration studies in University (3rd year of college program completed).
  • English skills above intermediate level (B2).
  • Computer skills above intermediate level (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of accounting principles or forecasting concepts.
  • No more than 1 year of professional experience in accounting/finance related roles. No previous job experience is required as this is an entry level position designed to help you start your career path.
  • Commitment in participating in the program for at least 12 months.
  • Intellectual curiosity, proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts such as: Accruals and prepaids.
