WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU What you will do Develop and manage CI/CD processes for different types of applications and automate as many processes as possible, based upon standardized frameworks and maturity models Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance services on AWS. Create and maintain a virtual NOC for the core production environment, and ensure SLAs and application uptime (and related metrics) are tracked, maintained and reported on. Manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes, including Jenkins and Kubernetes. Leverage Infrastructure as Code methodologies to manage infrastructure and system configuration. Collaborate with software engineers to understand and address code deployment needs and enable developer self-service models. Act as a gatekeeper and co-approver of changes to our production system (and its dependencies). Participate in incident response and resolution. Ensure that alerting mechanisms are in place to address any unplanned downtime or critical issues in a timely fashion. Review, coordinate and prioritize project tasks and requests for the team, effectively managing stakeholder requests from Development, Security and IT/Infrastructure. Provide technical guidance and educate team members on development and operations. Document and design various processes, updating existing processes, and improving the performance of existing systems. Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven hands-on experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps/GitOps Engineer or similar engineering role in a corporate environment Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, Control Tower and CloudWatch. Proficiency with Jenkins and CI/CD Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Understanding and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. Strong experience in administration of Windows and Linux servers Advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, Perl, or Shell. Proficiency with network protocols, firewalls, routing, and load balancing. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mentality.
