Our Data Validation Specialist works to support our Integration and Reporting Team. The role will have strong technical ability and be able to identify and resolve issues with both automated and manual solutions. The Data Validation Specialist will partner with internal stakeholders to effectively manage any new and/or existing validation needs. The goal of the Data Validation Specialist is to ensure that all current and potential users integrations and dashboards have confidence in the accuracy of their data. The Data Validation Specialist will work directly with the Financial Data Analyst and any other teams as needed. This role is remote within Costa Rica. WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU What you will do Create, review, approve, and troubleshoot integrations QA reports Participate in change management, go-live support, creation, and maintenance of business requirement documentation, and report specifications Perform project management functions by providing project effort estimates, target dates, planning and organizing development tasks Monitor, identify, and resolve integration, reporting, and data issues Develop new or make changes to existing integrations and reports Understand data structures, values, and transformations as needed Contributes to the development of standards, processes, and procedures that support improved reporting and validation quality and accuracy Work on multiple projects and competing priorities Support data quality initiatives to drive accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial information for integration projects Who you are Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required Experience: Excel: 1-2 years experience, Accounting: 1 year Passion for technology, the environment, and going green! The ability to deal with multiple projects and concurrent priorities and deadlines A desire to find the solution, not just finish the task Enthusiastic attitude about providing superior client experiences Aptitude to gain working knowledge – to expert experience in all of the company’s software platforms Aptitude to understand multiple department processes and interdepartmental interactions Ability to bring process optimization and cost savings propositions to the management team Demonstrated ability to manage and develop projects in multiple locations and countries Superior time management skills Excellent listening and communication skills Focused and detail-oriented WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US A competitive salary and benefits.
