You will have the opportunity to discuss details in the interview.About the role:The Security Architect at Boston Scientific is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of enterprise solutions for data security across the network and cloud. This includes cloud security, GenAI best practices, and ensuring compliance with security policies, procedures, and training. The Security Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure that all security solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. Your contributions will help ensure that the company’s data remains protected against emerging threats, while enabling business continuity and innovation.Key responsibilities:

  • GenAI Security: Develop and implement security frameworks and guidelines for Generative AI systems, ensuring data privacy, intellectual property protection, and secure algorithm deployment.
  • Cloud Security Management: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure cloud-based infrastructures, ensuring robust protection for data and applications across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • IT Security Architecture: Develop comprehensive security strategies, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and endpoint protection, in alignment with organizational policies and frameworks.
  • Security Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all security initiatives comply with industry standards (NIST) and manage risk by conducting regular risk assessments, audits, and planning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure that security solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.
  • Security Architecture Roadmap: Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for security architecture that aligns with business goals, emerging technologies, and evolving cybersecurity threats. Ensure scalability and flexibility of the security framework to support future business growth.
  • Integration of Emerging Technologies: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, such as GenAI, Advanced Manufacturing systems, HR automation capabilities, etc., to enhance the organization’s security infrastructure and protect against sophisticated cyber threats.

Minimum requirements:

Solution Delivery Intern - Healthcare Systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in security architecture or a related field with a strong focus on enterprise security solutions.
  • Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience in designing and securing cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) with knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices security.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
  • Proficiency in Security Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as CSPM, DLP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response.
  • Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM): Strong expertise in designing and implementing IAM frameworks, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure secure access to systems and data.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Information Security or related field.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Architectures and the implementation of secure access systems.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML Security: Understanding of securing AI/ML algorithms, data pipelines, and managing risks associated with AI deployment.
