Descripción de funciones: The role of Americas C&C Director is a critical role within the Global Finance Services organization, leading a team that delivers excellent quality close and control operations to the North America and LATAM Regions. The role requires leadership of a large internal team in addition to matrix management of 3rd party service providers as well as significant and complex stakeholder managementYour Responsibilities:This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:Lead a team of ~60 junior and senior finance analysts as well as the relationship with Global Operations to partner with the North America and LATAM regions to deliver close and control activities.Accountable for the reporting of financial results for the region with commentary including income, balance sheet and cash flow.Oversight of all aspects of the financial month end review process, including Inventory & Profit release, OE and Headcount reporting requirements this will also require co-ordination of activities across markets in the Region, and any other third parties.Own the Regional balance sheetsOversight of statutory account process, external and internal financial audits for their Regional Segment they are responsible forContribute into regional business review meetings as appropriate. Deliver insight to the business in key areas of risk, growth and performance making recommendations for continuous improvements and remedial action as requiredOversight/accountability of GSK Operations Process Centre of Excellence: Inventory, Master Data Management, Fixed Assets, Interco & Banking processes with focus on service delivery, process improvement and engagement with Genpact to manage and drive performance as per agreed scope and SLAs.Ensure robust Business Continuity Planning and Embed Risk Mindset. Ensure that Risks are appropriately identified, monitored, managed and escalated where necessary per GSK governance framework. Meet all SOX compliance requirements with quality and consistencyTranslate Global Finance strategies to set clear direction & inspire team. Define initiatives and activities that will allow Finance and GSK to deliver its ambition.Drive performance and continuous improvement in the Finance Hub including local, regional and BPO teams under its remitActively contribute to the C&C Global Leadership team and extended GFS Leadership TeamOwn budget for C&C Americas, including regional, local and outsourced services provider costs. Deliver efficiency improvements to drive Cost to Serve to upper quartile benchmark.Why you?
