ROC is at the core of supporting the credit rating process. As a member of the ROC team this role is a part of the Regulatory Support & Controls (RSC) area within RSC. The role is responsible for mastering knowledge of the MIS Record Retention Policy and Procedures and supporting operational processes to comply with the Policy, Procedures, and internal guidance related to rating process artefacts. The role will require learning to achieve mastery of Moody’s Ratings system or applications used to support the operational rating process with a focus on the systems used to manage the electronic records. Role will require working with data sets to support reporting and control reviews.Responsibilities:
- Provide daily operational support to file electronic rating process documentation and artefacts within Moody’s Ratings systems or applications with a focus on document management systems partnering with the broader global team
- Develop an understanding of the end-to-end credit rating process and documentation/artefacts involved in the process
- Develop subject matter expertise with Record Retention Policy, Procedures, as well as other credit rating regulatory requirements and associated processes
- Perform monthly completeness checks according to Established Process
- Support reporting activities
- Support and perform in business control review activities
- Projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s university degree
- 2 years or more professional experience (internship experience welcomed), prior experience in area of records management, compliance, internal audit, controls, financial operations areas a plus
- Financial Services industry experience a plus
- Experience working with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Organized and efficient with a pro-active, ‘can-do attitude & ability to work with global teams
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
