Descripción de funciones: **GPES **Assistant-Compliance **Operations (**Fixed Term Contract)**A principal function of this position includes the review and analysis of real-time transactions for potential violations; ensuring all transactions processed by Convera are compliant with external and internal regulations and policies. Assistant day-to-day activity is related to the payments where further investigation is needed. Main function is analysis of cases ensuring compliance policies are followed, performing offline due diligence reviews to evaluated adherence to our global compliance program.
– Utilize a wide variety of research tools, manuals, bulletins, and guidelines for transaction and entity reviews.
– Responsible for delivering high quality, productivity, efficiency, attendance results that meet the identified targets.
– Participate in the department’s educational program through bulletins, training sessions, and sanctions or regulatory updates.
– Ensure that Sanction, Interdictions and PEP cases are correctly referred to and appropriately escalated while adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
– Can identify areas of improvement within a team, work as a team player, support and actively participate on different management activities and initiatives.**What you will need to succeed**:– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in the compliance industry is a plus.
– Open to work non-standard work hours such as on holidays or extended hours may be required at times to meet operational needs.
– Strong customer service orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail during repetitive tasks
