Descripción de funciones: DESCRIPTIONAmazon’s Finance Operations department seeks a Financial Analyst to support Accounts Receivable for LATAM/US countries.This person will be responsible for the following:
· Full cycle of accounts receivable past due balances, including: research, analysis and calling customers to perform collection activities.
· Reconciling AR account(s) to the general ledger
· Managing and resolving invoice discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate receivables.
· Managing internal and external Accounts receivable inquiries.
· Maintain Customer relationships by responding timely and accurately to both internal (company) and external (customer directly) questions and requests for information.
· Creating and implementing standard operating procedures and process workflows.
· Collaborating with the Global Finance Operations team and internal business partners in the US, CA,LATAM and new Geo launches.
· Timely publish report via weekly metrics and provide status updates on projects
· Participate in operational excellence activities

You build financial and operational reports that inform business decision-making with basic understanding of general financial concepts specific to your area. You dive deep to ensure completeness and accuracy, with the support of peers and managers. You deliver results with targeted financial and operational ad-hoc analysis and models. You understand how to identify basic control risks and evaluate impact using an established framework. You implement and operate controls as assigned and measure effectiveness. You escalate ineffective controls for review and propose improvements. You continuously learn about business risks, financial, and tax-related regulation, compliance, and controls.

You readily communicate issues and conflicts by focusing on prioritizing your workload, leveraging input from your manager when required. You help solve basic issues and automate processes that reduce defects and improve overall process performance and you implement solutions to resolve those issues. You create SOPs and other process documentation to support knowledge transfer and new hire onboarding.

You contribute an inclusive and diverse work environment with your team.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBasic qualifications1-2 years of experience in Shared Services Accounts Receivable or Collections
Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel or similar desktop applications
Excellent in communication skills – written
Fully proficient in Spanish and English.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects
