Descripción de funciones: Responsible for the organization’s creditor and debtor accounts. Manages or performs work in some/all of the following areas: *Accounts Payable invoice verification, payment authorization and processing; *Reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers to identify improper changes, validate transactions and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due.Requirements

  • Reconcile invoices with receiving documents, investigating and resolving discrepancies by working with other departments.
  • Ensure timely processing of assigned vendor’s invoices with continued emphasis on maximizing early pay discounts.
  • Ensure vendor credit memos are entered timely and used as quickly as possible.
  • Set up vendor system for new vendor assignments as well as maintain/update vendor records for all assigned vendors as appropriate.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries via phone and e-mail.
  • Prepare payment runs for processing.
  • Assist with month-end close.


Assistant Professor - College Counseling And Student Affairs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent


  • Advanced computer skills required, proficient with MS office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Proficiency with 10-key calculator
  • Must be able to analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent accuracy, record keeping, organization, prioritization, attention to detail, follow up and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time
