• SOWs often have complex terms, deliverables, timelines, and fine print. The person should catch inconsistencies, missing info, or unclear language.
• Analytical Thinking
• They need to interpret requirements, deliverables, and responsibilities, and understand how they impact the project or contract.
• Business Acumen
• Understanding how the SOW ties to business objectives, budgets, and client expectations is crucial.
• Communication Skills
• They should be able to summarize findings, ask clarifying questions, and communicate concerns or recommendations clearly.
• Documentation & Reporting Skills
• Ability to create clear reports or summaries after reviewing the SOW

• SharePoint
• Excel
• Word
• Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with procurement or vendor management
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory considerations
• Risk assessment skills
• Familiarity with contractual terms (payment terms, liabilities, SLAs, IP rights) is important to spot red flags or risky clauses.

Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
